- Turn the trousers inside out and hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent to protect the velvet’s luster and prevent the colors from bleeding

- Do not tumble dry. Lay flat on a clean towel to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight to maintain the fabric's crushed texture

- Never use a traditional iron as it will flatten the velvet pile; use a handheld steamer on the reverse side to gently remove wrinkles

- If the velvet becomes flattened, use a soft-bristled clothes brush to gently lift the pile and restore its signature shimmer

- Store on a clip hanger or folded loosely; avoid heavy stacking which can create permanent pressure marks on the delicate velvet surface
